Pricing & Shipping Times
We use Australia Post for standard & express shipping, Startrack Premium for next business day deliveries and Startrack Courier for same day deliveries.
For standard, express and premium express orders, we dispatch orders made till 1pm AEST/AEDT daily on weekdays and for same day deliveries, the cutoff time is 12pm AEST/AEDT daily. We do not ship orders on weekends and public holidays as we are busy doing other non-work related things.

How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping:
- Sydney Metro: 1-2 business days
- NSW & ACT: 2-4 business days
- VIC & QLD: 3-5 business days
- SA: 4-6 business days
- TAS: 5-6 business days

- NT: 7-10 business days
Express shipping:

Premium Express:

How do I ship to multiple addresses?
Simply add each gift with it's respective gift message to your cart. Then, on your cart, select the "Ship to multiple addresses" button. This will take you to a page where you can enter each address individually, and then proceed to checking out.
Where do you deliver to?
We delivery Australia-wide and to New Zealand on orders placed via our website.
Can you deliver to PO Boxes?
Yes, we can ship our gift hampers to PO boxes.
Where do you delivery from?
We ship from our Brookvale warehouse in NSW 2100.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only deliver to New Zealand via Express International.
Do you offer gift hamper same day delivery?
We offer same day delivery for gift hampers going to selected Sydney metro postcodes. If your shipping postcode falls within this radius, this shipping option will be available to you at checkout, labelled Local Delivery.
What happens if someone is not home to receive the gift?
In the case where your recipient is not present to receive your gift, it will be left in a safe place where possible. If there is no safe place for the hamper to be left, it will be re-directed to the local post office for collection. Your recipient will be sent a text message from Australia Post notifying them of this. This is why it is important that their mobile number is provided in your order.
Will my gift recipient be notified about the delivery?
Australia Post will send your recipient a text on the day when the gift hamper is due to arrive. In the case that it cannot be left in a safe place, the gift will be re-directed to their local post office for collection, and they will be notified by text message about this. This is why it is important that their mobile number is provided in your order.
International Shipping
For gifts going to New Zealand, we use Australia Post International Express. Should you wish to send gifts across the globe, we can do so via DHL Express, but please note that international shipping & duty costs will apply.
Tracking, Notifications & Delivery
How do I track my gift?
We’ve got you covered! Once you place your order, you’ll receive an automated tracking email sent to the email address you provided at checkout. You’ll also get updates when your order is packed, picked up by the courier, out for delivery, dropped off, or redirected to the post office for collection. No surprises, just smooth sailing.
Will the recipient know the gift is on its way?
Australia Post will notify your gift recipient via text when their hamper is out for delivery or due to arrive shortly. It’s like a little heads-up to make their day even better.
What happens if the recipient isn’t there to receive their gift?
No stress, if the gift can’t be left in a safe spot, it’ll be redirected to the recipient’s local post office for collection. They’ll receive a text from AusPost letting them know where to pick it up—no more waiting for those old-school collection cards.
Why do I need to provide the recipient’s phone number at checkout?
Great question, Providing the recipient’s phone number ensures they receive delivery updates and notifications about their gift hamper on the day it is getting delivered, OR when it can't be left in a safe place. Hence, alerting them that their gift has been re-directed to their local post office for collection. Don’t worry—we don’t contact them for any other purpose. It’s just to make sure they get their Good Day People hamper without any hiccups.
Incorrect Shipping Details
On the off-chance that your order has been dispatched and you have put in the incorrect address, please e-mail us immediately to see if we can still change the address. Once delivered, and this includes when it gets left at a post office for collection, Good Day People cannot re-direct the package. Should the package be returned to Good Day People, we will happily send a new package for a $12 fee. This fee must be paid prior to dispatch.

We understand that our Good Day People customers want to their gifts to arrive in a timely manner. At Good Day People we do not use in-house couriers and we rely on external courier providers for the delivery of our gifts. Should there be any issues with the delivery process, we will always do our best to follow up couriers on your behalf however once the order has been dispatched there is very little we can do to intervene. We appreciate all the love, patience and understanding you have with regards to this. Srsly... you're the best!
