Order Cancellations

We’re happy to help if your plans change before your gift has left our premises. Once your order is dispatched, additional conditions apply to cover shipping and return fees.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

Yes, if your order hasn’t left our premises, we’re happy to provide a full refund. Just contact us as soon as possible at hello@gooddaypeople.com or fill in the form at the bottom of this page.

What if my order has already been dispatched?

If your order is in transit, we can potentially recall the package although this is not a guarantee. In this case, the shipping fee is non-refundable either way. Additionally, a return fee (charged by Australia Post) will be deducted from your refund.

Returns due to Delivery Issues

We understand that delivery mishaps happen. Whether it’s an incorrect address or a missed gift hamper delivery, here’s how we handle it:

What happens if I entered the wrong address at checkout?

Contact us ASAP at hello@gooddaypeople to ammend your shipping address. We will be able to amend this before the gift leaves our premises. Unfortunately, if the gift has already been delievered to the wrong address, we cannot offer a refund due to incorrect details provided at checkout.

What if the gift is returned to you because of a wrong address?

If the gift is returned to us, we can ship it to the correct address once you cover the additional shipping fee, plus the return fee charged to us by Auspost.

Damages in Transit

Your satisfaction is our priority. If there’s an issue with your gift, we’ll do our best to make it right.

What should I do if the gift arrives damaged or faulty?

Contact us within 48 hours at hello@gooddaypeople.com with images of any damages and we will get a new gift sent out to you asap. We're speedy like that!

Important Notes

On the off-chance that your order has been dispatched and you have put in the incorrect address, please e-mail us immediately to see if we can still change the address. Once delivered, and this includes when it gets left at a post office for collection, Good Day People cannot re-direct the package. Should the package be returned to Good Day People, we will happily send a new package for a $12 fee. This fee must be paid prior to dispatch. 

Gift recipient contact information

To ensure smooth delivery, please provide the recipient’s phone number at checkout. This allows them to receive delivery notifications via text and helps prevent missed deliveries.

Australia Post notifications

If the recipient isn’t available to receive their gift and it can’t be left in a safe place, it will be redirected to their local post office for collection. They’ll be notified via text as physical collection cards are being phased out.
